Rooms at the Centre are available for regular bookings for individuals or groups for activities that are arts or craft-based or other leisure activities. The Centre is not available for parties or family gatherings of any kind. It is not available for regular weekend church gatherings.

On Weekdays, minimum bookings are for a 4-hour session or any part of that session. The sessions are mornings (9am-1pm), afternoons (1.30pm—5.30pm) and evenings (6pm-10pm). The session times include clean-up time. The half hour between sessions is to allow the next group to set up for their session.

On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, bookings are for a minimum period of 8 hours between 9am and 6pm. On weekends, you may only want a morning or an afternoon, but you will pay for 8 hours or 2 sessions regardless of the actual hours used. There are no evening bookings on the weekend.

The Centre has 4 rooms that can be booked:

  • Room 1 Steven Pringle Room can take 40-50 people.
  • Room 2 can take up to a maximum of 100 people.
  • Room 3 is for wet and dirty crafts for small groups.
  • Room 4 is a small meeting room which can take up to 20 people maximum sitting in rows or a circle. Three trestle tables allow for small craft groups of 12-16 people depending on the arrangement of the tables and the area each person needs for that craft.

A list of all facilities in each room is available upon request.

Fees & Rates

Fees at the Centre are based on the type of group which is placing a booking:

Commercial Group rates apply to any group which is run as a business for profit including teachers conducting classes to make a profit. All such groups need Public Liability Insurance for $20 million.

Community Group rates apply to any not-for profit group from the community, whether incorporated or not. This includes community groups which run a workshop and pay the tutor an honorarium ( a nominal amount towards their costs) and do not pay tutor commercial teachers wages. All such groups need Public Liability Insurance for $20million.

Regular Group rates apply to Community Groups, as above, which are members of Epping Creative Centre Incorporated and which book frequently during the year (minimum of 10 sessions). New groups can apply to become members of Epping Creative Centre Incorporated, once the Booking Officer confirms that they qualify for membership.
